Keep an eye on your inbox! Your BackerKit pledge manager survey will be arriving within the next week! If you're new to Kickstarter, a pledge manager is a platform that lets you finalize your pledge details — and for Helm’s Slain, we’re using BackerKit.
It’s super important to complete your survey quickly so we can move forward with production and fulfillment as smoothly (and swiftly!) as possible.
Through the survey, you’ll be able to:

Helm's Slain and all add-ons are now available for pre-order through our BackerKit Pre-Order Store, it's accessible directly from this Kickstarter page by clicking “Pre-Order Now!” at the top.
This is perfect for anyone who missed the campaign or wants to share it with friends who’d love to join the adventure.
✨ Note: If you already backed during the Kickstarter, your order is unaffected — this is simply how we’ll handle new orders going forward.

Behind the scenes, we’re:
- Updating production files
- Reviewing component proofs
- Coordinating with our manufacturer on details like game box storage for the card decks

🛣️Helm's Slain on the Road
⚔️ One of our amazing backers ran multiple sessions of Helm’s Slain in early October at Con on the Cob in Ohio! Fun was had by all — one session even ran more than twice the scheduled time because players couldn’t pull away from the action!

Adventurers, we cannot thank you enough for the incredible support that brought Helm's Slain to life! Not only did we smash through our original funding goal, but together you unlocked four stretch goals! These make the final game bigger, better, and even more epic. ⚔️🎲
We’re beyond excited to begin production and get your copy into your hands as soon as possible. The real adventure begins now!
What’s Next?
🎲 Funding and Pre-Production
Kickstarter will transfer the funds (this can take up to two weeks). In the meantime, we’ll be finalizing files and specs with our manufacturer so production can get rolling!
👉 Post-Campaign Surveys
In about two weeks, you’ll receive a BackerKit survey via email. This will let you:
- Confirm your pledge
- Select add-ons
- Enter shipping information
We’ll send a heads-up before it goes out. Please complete your survey quickly so we can stay on track for production and delivery.
⚔️ Late Pledges & Pre-Orders
Missed the Kickstarter? You can still join the quest! Our BackerKit pre-order store will open soon, giving new adventurers (and existing backers who want upgrades) another chance to secure Helm’s Slain.

Great news! Stretch Goal #4 is now officially unlocked! That means every copy of Helm’s Slain will now include double the Spell Cards, giving your party even more magical firepower and variety at the table. ✨📜 Your support continues to amaze us.

Adventurers, you did it again! 🎉 Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve blasted through $20,000 in funding, and unlocked even more stretch goals. The dungeon crawl just got bigger, better, and even more exciting!

We’re excited to roll out the first three stretch goals for Helm’s Slain!
Stretch Goal #1 – $10,000 ✅ Already Unlocked!
+13 pre-generated characters (for a total of 26), ready for battle! These heroes add even more variety and replayability to your adventures.
Stretch Goal #2 – $15,000
Upgrade: Wooden Skull Tokens replace cardboard tokens 💀—bringing a more tactile, premium feel to your dungeon encounters.
Stretch Goal #3 – $20,000
Upgrade: Wooden Shields replace cardboard versions. 🛡️Another step toward making your gameplay immersive and epic.
We’ll be revealing the remaining stretch goals later, including what’s coming at each funding milestone. For now, we’re sharing the target amounts, but the actual rewards are still a secret—stay tuned!
